In addition the village offers a Baptist church, a licensed social club, 17 miles of well-marked footpaths and a working watermill at Anglesey Abbey.  For the younger visitor there is a well-equipped children’s play area including as asphalt roller skating area.

The village has limited facilities such as a small post office/shop, a parish room adjoining the church and a sports club and playing field, including a tennis court.  A bus service runs through the village six days a week.
