A restaurant and art gallery situated just west of the cathedral in an attractive Georgian house with a large walled garden stocked with many old English fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Our menus rely heavily on seasonal cooking and using local ingredients and recipes.
The Royal Standard started as a one room public house in the 15th Century and is the oldest building on Ely's Forehill. The building has been extended over the years and is now one of Ely's most popular dining and meeting places.
