Old Fire Engine House, Ely

A restaurant and art gallery situated just west of the cathedral in an attractive Georgian house with a large walled garden stocked with many old English fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Our menus rely heavily on seasonal cooking and using local ingredients and recipes.

The Royal Standard, Ely

The Royal Standard started as a one room public house in the 15th Century and is the oldest building on Ely's Forehill. The building has been extended over the years and is now one of Ely's most popular dining and meeting places. Our extensive food menu is focused on fresh and local as well as seafood and steak, with a good selection of traditional pub food thrown into the mix. An eclectic 60 bottle wine list compliments the varied menu and you can also expect to find well kept real ales, cocktails and a great range of premium spirits.

11a Forehill is Ely’s newest 'City Centre' kitchen, bar and cocktail lounge.  Nestled at the top of Fore Hill.  We are equidistant to Ely Cathedral and the River Great Ouse with ample free car parking space located in Forehill car park. Come and see for yourself just what’s going on at 11a.  Open from 11am for coffees, pastries and cake.  Kitchen open for all day dining from 12pm - 9pm.  Weekends, we like to turn the lights down low, put on some music, mix ’n’ shake some cocktails and relax.  Open until late Friday and Saturday evenings, 11a is the place to be whether it’s family time, catching up with friends, business meetings or just a quiet dinner for two.
