A talk by Cliff Carson on the Management for Wildlife on Middle Level Waterways - presented by The Friends of Ely Museum.

The presentation will be held in the Vernon Cross Room at the rear of the Museum - entrance via ECDC car park.

The park is situated close to the centre of Ely. It forms part of a green corridor situated between the river Great Ouse and Broad Street. The river front end of the park links to Cresswells Pocket Park and Roswell Pits nature trail and the Broad Street entrance links to Ely Park.

Location

Cresswells Pocket Park is situated in Ely and accessed via Willow Walk, Lisle Lane or Cresswells Lane. The park is managed in partnership with the Ely Society who leases the park from the Council. The park offers facilities for dog walking and Parks & Open Spaces Team have recently sown a wild flower area.

Location

Cherry Hill/Ely Park is situated in Ely with access off Broad Street and Barton Square. The park provides a link from the cathedral to the riverfront.

The council lease the park from the Dean and Chapter of Ely Cathedral. The park has a play area that is managed by the City of Ely Council and an Eel hive woven from living willow that is one of five piece of art that is part of the Ely Eel trail.
