Heritage Open Day Evening at Ely Cathedral

We will be participating in Heritage Open Days, England’s largest community led festival of history and culture. Friday 11 September, 6.30pm-8.30pm Visitors can enjoy free evening entry to the Cathedral to explore the Cathedral’s rich history and architecture. Find out about some of the myriad of people who have contributed, and continue to shape, the Cathedral and its community today. Families with children can explore with our free children’s trail.

During the evening, we are also offering: – Highlights Tours With one of our knowledgeable volunteer Guides to learn more about the Cathedral’s stories. Free of charge, booking not required. – West Tower Experience 6.30pm & 7.15pm Charges apply, booking essential. – The Stained Glass Museum Open 6.30pm – 8.30pm Free of charge, booking not required.
