What The World Needs Now – a celebration of the music of Burt Bacharach

Celebrate the cool ’60s New York sound of Burt Bacharach at this very special concert at the Maltings, Ely.

The concert features the Nigel Bennett Orchestra with special guest singers Chloe Grimes, Kerry Maltby and Tom Huttlestone. The concert will feature songs written during the golden era of the Burt Bacharach and Hal David partnership, made famous by artists such as Dione Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Sandy Shaw and Gene Pitney. The concert is supported in the first half by intriguing jazz trio Shakey Breaks The Ice.
