Terms and Conditions for the Ely Passport

  1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Ely Passport – Joint Admission ticket, which grants admission to four attractions in Ely, England: Ely Cathedral, Oliver Cromwell’s House, Ely Museum, and The Stained Glass Museum. By purchasing or using the Ely Passport, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Validity Period
  • The Ely Passport is valid for 48 hours from the first visit to any one of the four attractions (Ely Cathedral, Oliver Cromwell’s House, Ely Museum, or The Stained Glass Museum).
  • The 48-hour period will begin from the time of entry into the first attraction and will expire 48 hours later. We strongly advise that you plan in advance to avoid disappointment due to opening hour variations across all four attractions.
  1. Access to Attractions
  • The Ely Passport grants general admission to the four attractions.
  • Admission is for each attraction ONCE only. A mark will be affixed at each venue to validate entry.
  • The ticket is not valid for additional paid tours, events, special exhibitions, or any other special offerings that may be available at the attractions. Ely Cathedral Admission does NOT include a multimedia guide or in in-person guided tour.
  • The Ely Passport does not cover any optional extras or experiences beyond standard admission.
  1. Attraction Closures and Impact on Access
  • Attractions may be subject to temporary closures or restricted access due to events, maintenance, religious services, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • The attractions will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of any planned closures or restrictions, but the Ely Passport cannot guarantee access to all attractions at all times during the validity period.
  • In the event of a full or partial closure of any attraction, no refunds or financial compensations will be provided, but visitors will receive an extension of validity for the attraction omitted due to closure only.
  1. Ticket Usage
  • The Ely Passport is non-transferable and may only be used by the individual named on the ticket.
  • Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure the ticket is kept safe and secure.
  • Tickets cannot be resold or used for any commercial purposes.
  1. Refunds and Exchanges
  • The Ely Passport is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different product or date.
  • No refunds will be issued in cases where the ticket holder is unable to visit one or more of the attractions due to personal reasons, illness, or other non-related closure circumstances.
  1. General Conditions
  • The use of the Ely Passport is subject to the individual policies and rules of each participating attraction. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to comply with any specific terms set out by each attraction, including but not limited to safety regulations, photography policies, and behavior guidelines.
  • The attractions reserve the right to refuse admission or to remove any individual from the premises for behavior that is deemed disruptive, inappropriate, or in violation of the attractions’ policies.
  1. Liability
  • The attractions participating in the Ely Passport cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience suffered by the ticket holder, except where such loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience is caused by the negligence of the attractions or their employees.
  • The attractions do not accept responsibility for any personal belongings lost or stolen during the visit.
  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions
  • The operators of the Ely Passport reserve the right to update, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the official websites of the participating attractions.
  • It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to review these Terms and Conditions regularly.
  1. Governing Law
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes arising from the use of the Ely Passport will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
