Mad Hatters Campsite

Our site is a wildlife haven with over 3 acres of grassy fields, its own pond, and numerous bird boxes and feeding stations. There is a family trail for the curious, a small play house for the active and plenty of benches to simply sit back and enjoy the impressive landscape of the fens.

We are only 2 miles from the City of Ely which can be reached via a footpath along the River Ouse where you can take in further dramatic views of the magnificent Ely Cathedral.

All of our pitches have tall tussocky grasses with wild flowers growing in them as their border. The tent pitches are higgledy piggledy with twisty paths cut into the tall grasses. Each pitch has its own fire pit and name, which you can choose upon booking (such as Alice, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts or White Rabbit). We have electric hook-ups for caravans and motorhomes. We also have glamping bell/luna tents, which sleep 4 with a double bed and a day bed with a trundle bed. They come complete with all bedding, throws for cold nights, crockery, small stove for outside, colourful rugs and a cosy table and chairs.
