The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

Thursday 22nd October 2026 is launch day for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Our wonderful team of volunteers will be supporting collections in all three supermarkets in Ely and many local shops and businesses will also be supporting the Appeal which ends on Remembrance Sunday 7th November 2026. Money raised by the Poppy Appeal all goes towards helping and supporting the Armed Forces Community and their families as well, please have a look at the RBL website for more information. RBL.org

If you are interested in joining in, and would like to volunteer to help with the supermarket collections please do get in touch! Training and support is provided for the role and any out of pocket expenses can be claimed back . You don’t need to know anything about the Armed Forces to join in, or be an RBL branch member.
