Thursday Afternoon Pottery Class (10 Weeks)

Join Ely Clay Collective for 10 weeks of adult afternoon classes at The Lighthouse in the centre of Ely. Thursday afternoon 15:00-17.15. All abilities welcome, we will be using a variety of hand-building techniques to make pieces of your own design. Each week will demonstrate a building technique or decorating skill, you can then use these techniques to make whatever kind of ceramic object you wish. We will be demonstrating a range of beginner techniques, and some more advanced ones. You don’t have to follow the demonstrations – if you have ceramics experience and have ideas of what you want to achieve in the 10 weeks we’d love to help you make that a reality! You’ll have plenty of personalised and individual teaching, the class has a maximum of 10 places and you will be taught by Georgie. The price for the term is £250. During 2 of the lessons we will be focusing on glaze application, and you will be able to fire your pieces to keep.
