As with every year, Ely is honoured to host two servicesThough the Haunted season has since passed and thoughts turn to Christmas, that didn’t stop the specters of history from appearing before a sold out audience at Ely’s Sessions House on 10th November, when three trials were recreated in the very court room in which they were first heard. of Remembrance. These events have been organised by Visit Ely, the Royal British Legion Ely Branch and The City of Ely Council.

It seems hardly believable that we are on the cusp of 2023. With the festive lunches behind us, and the thoughts of New Years celebrations on the horizon, it is not a shock to think most of us are looking towards ‘next year’ but for the next few minutes, we’d like to look back. Back over a truly remarkable year in a City for All Seasons!
