Ely Park
Ely Park incorporates Cherry Hill, an ancient castle mound that sadly is no longer in evidence. The park provides a link from the Cathedral and City Centre to the riverfront.
The park has a play area and an eel hive woven from living willow that is one of five-piece of art that is part of the Eel Trail. The Park has a number of mature trees which provide an ideal place to picnic and run freely. It also enjoys stunning views of the cathedral and other monastic buildings. It is also best known for its great sledging on a snowy winter’s day!
